The Colts got another win yesterday pushing their record to 8-4. However they did not look good doing it. There were a lot of negatives and very few positives that came out of the game. My thoughts are here in this week’s reaction. Follow me on Twitter @thadvandeventer.

The Colts took care of business yesterday traveling to Jacksonville and crushing the Jags 37-3. Indianapolis dominated in all facets of the game. The Colts went to San Francisco and left with a dominating win in their pocket. Indy steamrolled the 49ers in a 27-7 victory. There were many areas of the game to discuss and I do so in tonight’s Monday Night Reaction. Remember to follow me on Twitter @thadvandeventer and @IndySportsCrew.
Colts talk is the prominent feature for this week’s show. Matt Taylor from the Colts Vectren Radio Network joins me leading up the team’s trip out west to take on San Francisco. We will also touch on some college football and a quick second on the Pacers. Tune in and let me know your thoughts on Twitter @thadvandeventer and @IndySportsCrew.
The Indianapolis Colts traded for running back Trent Richardson today. The surprising move came late in the afternoon as Indy came to an agreement with Cleveland. In exchange for Richardson, the Colts give back their 2014 first round draft pick.
This move shows that the Colts are making the additions they deem necessary to stay in the playoff hunt. They lost three offensive starters this week as they head into their toughest stretch of games this season. Vick Ballard, Donald Thomas, and Dwayne Allen all went down with season ending injuries this week.
GM Ryan Grigson showed his ability to make acquisitions when and where they may not be expected. Richardson was the 3rd overall pick in the 2013 draft. The University of Alabama product is a physical backfield workhorse. In 17 career games, Richardson has rushed for 1,055 yards and 11 touchdowns while also adding 58 receptions for 418 yards and another score. Teaming up with Ahmad Bradshaw now will give Indianapolis the 1-2 punch they were missing with Ballard going down.
The Miami Dolphins came away with a road win in week two taking down the Colts 24-20 yesterday. A tight game that saw the Colts have chances, but come up short. Some thoughts here for your entertainment. Follow me on Twitter @thadvandeventer and @IndySportsCrew.
The Colts started the season off with a win Sunday taking down Oakland 21-17. It was not the prettiest of wins, but it did put a notch in the victory column. Check out my thoughts here in the first Monday Night Reaction of the season. As always follow me on Twitter @thadvandeventer.
This week in the Man Room I talk about football, basketball, and even a little baseball. Colts preseason story lines are abundant so those are discussed. Travis Miller from hammerandrails.com is the guest talking Purdue football. Plus my thought on Calbert Cheaney leaving IU and Ryan Dempster’s joke suspension giving to him.
